Jay Sun is the Managing Director of EnCandle (in beta) and a former co-founder and CFO of the Barbarian Group, a digital, creative marketing, and an innovative technology company with offices in Boston, New York and San Francisco.  Prior to Barbarian Group, Jay was the CFO of World Conference Holdings  (WCH), and worked with an entrepreneur on various ventures including: World Research Group, Treasury Resources Center, Center for Business Intelligence, and World Economic Development Congress (www.worldcongress.com).

 Jay has extensive experience in working with start-up companies, from retail storefront to software companies, from trade show companies to franchises.  Jay is also a fan of microcredit lending.  He is involved with various social entrepreneurs initiatives, supporting a number of non-profit organizations in the Greater Boston with focus on education.  He is currently on the Board of Advisors at Alldaybuffet, a social entrepreneur incubator based in New York.  Jay's most recent project is helping Grameen Bank America (founded by Muhammad Yunus 2006 Nobel Peace Laureate) to extend its presence in the U.S. through internet marketing.
